i had a discussion about this with my mom today. she said this series shouldn’t be included in the regular comics section because “kids shouldn’t read it”

ahahha I know I didn’t read Doonesbury when I was a kid

I didn’t understand it and thought it was boring

it is a boring comic, but

  1. sometimes it’s very, very relevant, such as now
  2. it’s a lot better than any shat-out, over-labeled, condescending single-panel political cartoon

also children today don’t read any newspaper comics

that’s why most of them are about geriatrics nowadays
